UK

A one-day #CoLab with the Impact Hub exploring the question: what is Birmingham doing towards the elimination of violence against women and girls? A collaborative multi-stakeholder workshop involving 30 participants from civil society, academia and local government to explore and share the current situation, strategies and possibilities. Methods included discussions, mapping and constellation work to draw out the issues and generate creative and innovative thinking. Participants reflected that it was unusual to have the space to share practice and collaborate and appreciated the opportunity to connect. HOSTING AND FACILITATING VIRTUAL CONVERSATIONS 4 CHANGE TO EXPLORE LEARNINGS AND ISSUES EMERGING FROM THE PANDEMIC

ONLINE

The first C4C was first convened in April 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic. It bought together a group of individuals from different countries to share  personal experiences and stories, reflect on the situation in real time and imagine visions for our future. Since this time we have been hosting weekly virtual C4C. As a type of action learning, these spaces draw on people’s experiences, practice and ideas. They generate reflection on the self, the situation and the social. C4C draw on a range of participatory and creative methods, they are captured in real time and offer insight and evidence into the issues being discussed.
